This volume describes complete operas and selections of the Institute historical discotheque, more than four hundred overall, from 1927 to 1983. The collection’s core (three thousand supports approximately) comes from the Swedish collector Carl L. Bruun, bequeathed to the Institute in 1984. This collection consists of one of the largest Italian public collections of phonograph records.
